Before opening Odyssey in 1997, Debbie enjoyed an illustrious career in both the College system and the Cosmetics industry. During her many years as a full-time Professor and Program Coordinator, Debbie also freelanced as a make-up artist, colour/image consultant and top plus-size fashion model. In addition to this, she was often contracted as a business consultant by many of the major cosmetic companies to create staff training manuals, programs and promotional materials for consumers. She served as the President of the Canadian Cosmetics Careers Association, was a contributor towards the "Look Good, Feel Better" Program for women with cancer and the Education Columnist for "Cosmetics Magazine". Debbie wrote "The Business of Beauty" book and produced & hosted the "Beauty Profiles" television series.
When the time came for Debbie to leave her rewarding but hectic career as an Academic Manager at Centennial College, she drew upon her spiritual knowledge, intuitive gifts, organizational abilities, communication skills, business resources, enthusiasm and love of people & shopping, to open a metaphysical centre. Her goal was to create a warm, inviting place that would bring together the area's spiritual community by providing them with a diversified range of books, products, courses and services that would support their unique journeys of self-discovery & growth.
Through Odyssey Debbie continues to teach, guide and share her light as she helps to hold the energy for the highest good of all.
